Rene Marie Russo, an American actor and film maker who was a former supermodel is now a film director. Rene Marie Russo is an American actress, filmmaker and former supermodel. Her fame is based on her beauty and elegance. Her long-standing presence in a competitive and crowded industry showcases her talent and skills as an actor. The career of her was launched as a fashion model in the year 1970 her rise quickly to fame. In the early 1990s she was enrolled in acting and theatre. In the following years, after that, in Los Angeles and California she appeared on stage for the first time. Russo began her film debut in ABCs drama series Sable in 1987 as the role of Eden Kendell. Two years later, she was Tom Berengers lover in Major League. Initially skeptical about her capability in the field of acting, public was enticed by her consistency. The praises were centered around her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak in which she competed with Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. Her admission to acting hasn't been her thing. After a lengthy absence, she decided to self-impose in 2005. Then she returned as a part of the movie about superheroes Thor. The film also featured her in the Oscar winner film Nightcrawler that was written and produced by her husband. She then went on to star in light-hearted comedies like The Intern and Just Getting Started.

Rose Namajunas ranks among the top UFC female athletes. Her journey began as an amateur, fighting at various regional competitions. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she signed up for Ultimate Fighting Championships. The fighter has gained plenty of recognition since joining the UFC due to both her inside and outside the octagon success. Namajunas's family are Lithuanian as was her birthplace there on the 29th of June in 1992. Rose played sports like basketball and kickboxing while growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her at age 18 and she was able to take home two fights by submission. Dana White took notice of her performance and had her admitted to the UFC's strawweight class at the end of December 2014, when she was barely 22. Rose has had highs and lows throughout her professional career, however, she has always come out triumphant. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 in the Women's Strawweight Title. The fight was won through a technical knockout, which occurred within three minutes after the start of the round. This was the first female to fight for a title title with any major promotion worldwide. Namajunas kept winning more victories, including two victories against Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
